Why do recruiters lie and say they'll call me after the interview if they've decided to hire me, when they had already made the decision whether or not to hire me by the end of the interview? It just wastes everyone's time when I call them back a week later and ask them if they've made a decision. I've always assumed that if they don't hire me on the spot I'm not getting the job, and I've yet to be proven wrong on that.
