Can someone fucking help me out here?
I was wondering, in today's world is the only way to gain acceptance pretty much through a bullshit degree? I was around a lot of dropouts or people that never went to college growing up, and I remember reading about very succesful people from a young age that I could relate to (I tested as an INFP) and I guess these people were similar types so I would read about them, people like Eddie Vedder, and Kurt Cobain, to Keanu Reeves, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates were all drop outs, but I realize that they're age they're all on the cusp of being boomers or gen x, I wonder was it way different back then? I grew up in the country and thus I had no idea what the world would be like, but outside of major metropolitan areas I feel like everything is too unadvanced for me, god damn and even just like, finding anyone with similar interests.
But the problem is I feel as though I have experienced extreme classism and it's hard to even get your foot in the door. Like a lot of people said it's mostly just boomers who go to public open gatherings.
Honestly I find most people so shallow I would almost rather be alone, but idk I don't fit in at all. I feel as though people are extremely cliquey these days?
