All else being equal, girls generally prefer guys who are at least as tall as they are.
If you see a tall, attractive girl with an even taller guy, ok, that's to be expected.
But if you see a tall, attractive girl with a manlet, that implies that all else isn't equal. People will assume that there is something else about the guy that more than makes up for his lack of height.
Maybe he is rich or powerful or famous or has a huge dick, who knows. It doesn't really matter, just the fact that he was able to overcome his shortness and get a tall hottie will make people assume that he is higher value than if he was taller.
This in turn will make the girl seem more attractive and higher value, because she was able to lock down this very high value short guy.
Similar reason for why girls think Pete Davidson is attractive. Dude is objectively ugly af, but is still fucking all these hot celebrities.
Ugly face or being a manlet + no hoes = unattractive.
