Because abortion doctors routinely leave infants who are born alive after abortions to die, and technically, it's not considered murder, because if they just leave the baby on the table to die, then they can say they didn't kill it. The previous bill outlawing this practice doesn't have any punishment for doctors who do this which is why a new bill is needed. Democrats voted against this because their planned parenthood overlords commanded them to and Planned Parenthood knows damn well that this happens and they don't want to be punished for doing it.

Thats whats in the bible. Abraham had the right to kill Isaac well into his teens. Personally I think, for legal reasons, it should until the age of 18. After that theyre legally an adult and it would get tricky to continue to allow parents to abort them. Im willing to listen to Biblical scholars who think it should be higher.

Babies cant survive that early. How many abortions are in the 3rd trimester that this is even a possibility? I assume you have data since you said routinely.

Premature birth survival rates
Less than 22 weeks is close to zero chance of survival
22 weeks is around 10%
24 weeks is around 60%
27 weeks is around 89%
31 weeks is around 95%

Rates of abortion at different gestation periods
more than 90% of abortions occur before the 13th week,
1.3% of abortions in the United States took place after the 21st week
less than 1% occur after 24 weeks

So we have a 1.3% of abortions in the possibly survivable range.
Now, why would a woman carry a pregnancy for 6 miserable months and then decide to abort? Probably because the fetus wasnt viable to begin with.

This doesnt sound routine at all OP
