>>17660562>>17660575Do we need:
>Food delivery>A bazillion million restaurants>People who organize trips>People who make coffee/food in a company>People who do dog walks >People who do "marketing">People who do meaningless "research"I could write up a long list of completely useless jobs.
In my utopia, most people have a homestead and a housewife. Food is procured locally or produced in house, along with trading for spices/things we can't produce. Every village has a market where we can exchange things with eachother. Maybe Rob is an awesome carpenter and Maggie makes really fluffy high grade feather pillows, Josie is great at embroidery, Matt is awesome with building stuff etc. We all work together and exchange skills among ourselves to live fulfilling lives mostly devoid of frivolities.
Ofcourse, we still care for infrastructure, so the men periodically work for as electricians, plumbers, public servicemen etc. The excess accumulated by their labour is then used to buy more feather pillows or build homes for the next generation.
But I don't think it's ever gonna happen unfortunately.
