in general i feel like i have a pretty good knack for spinning bullshit and the like, but i've found that's very much tied up directly in my language skill rather than just being an adjacent one like with conversation or whatever, so even though i've often spewed out entire essays on completely fabricated premises in english writing just a few paragraphs on a topic i don't have anything to say about in japanese is like pulling teeth
