When the board erupts with multiple threads on the same theme, you recognize that a new shill offensive is under way. It's not very subtle, and because of the nature of the board, it stands out like a flaming beacon. There's no upvote, no down vote, no blocking or banning. So you're basically pissing in an ocean of piss. It has little effect in the long run. Shills shill, then when they leave, the board goes back to the way it was before. The amount of time and money being poured in here is ludicrous considering it has no lasting effect at all.
