Why do Americans like this meme product so much? I tried different flavors, but all of them were shit

The texture is shit, they are too dry and salty. Even the cheapest shitty gas station generic potato/corn chip brands beat every time this shit product.

Doritos taste like shit and make your mouth feel like a salty dessert.

Extremely shitty product and I cannot think no reason why it has even ended up in worldwide distribution
