long answer: for a while, people on here used to make 'ironic' racist jokes all the time. they were all just saying it mostly for shock, and whoever took it seriously or said it wasn't funny was looked down upon or laughed at. but eventually, it got to the point where people started saying the same things actual nazis were saying, and it started to attract people who genuinely believe in the stuff they were joking about. moot, attempting to contain the actual racism created /pol/, but that only attracted more nazis to the site. it's why /lgbt/ is the most protected board on this site. but of course, this is probably just bait anyway so why bother?
