is that the twist they put on in the recent movies? terminator 1 and 2 was just human heart and SOVL
what could one gain by answering or by collecting this information? by answering i don't know, but by collecting the information, it's the ability to segment your userbase in advertiser-friendly chunks.
in my agency we generally avoid youtube advertising because it's expensive (in advertising context this means the amount of money you have to pay to have your ad seen by someone. so in fb it takes like one cent to present your ad to 100 people, while in yt it takes 10 cents) and provides shitty targeting options. like i can present the ad to 10 people interested in italy but i can't tell if those 10 people are men, women, teenagers, children, adults, seriously interested or casually interested etc.
so over the course of time advertisers discovered that spending 100 eur on facebook or google advertising gets you more bang for your buck than spending 100 eur on youtube.
and youtube is probably struggling to correct that. idk if the jarred jamie guy is part of the operation, but i'm just providing a reason as to why he might be datamining.

that could be funny in theory, but the kid fails to deliver
