What's the incentive for going to concerts? The music is too loud and hurts, there are too many people around to just enjoy listening to the music, and people will randomly beat the shit of you. It all just seems very Reddit

That sounds like it could be nice, especially if it's a sitting one and you get food. I am a metalfag though and am mainly talking about those types of concerts

Metal concerts are a beast of their own. The high energy of the music whips everyone into a frenzy. I used to like moshing at them too, but every time I try to mosh now I get asthmatically winded and out of breath.
