In order to take up your cross and follow Christ, you will likely walk that path without companionship, without comradery, without comfort, without community. You have no friends in the churches for they are like warm, your family are full of vanity, your friends full of vice, and your internet buds are not really there. You will walk alone through the valley of darkness with no comforter but the faint light that is God, and as you feel yourself more isolated and abandoned by God, so too does that love of God enrapture you
