You have no factual evidence that the consumption or enjoyment of drawn images that depict children in a sexual manner causes those who consume it to be more likely to commit sexual assault against minors. The same can be said of commiting murder in videogames.

Child pornography did not exist for most of human history and yet pedophilia is alive and well. The banning of pedophilic pornography will not make the sexual abuse of minors any less likely to happen.

Most adults are able to separate fantasy from reality and understand that just because they are attracted to and masturbate to depictions of children, does not mean that they are any more likely to forsake ALL their morals and disregard the life and future of a child just to achieve a dubious and temporary sexual satisfaction. It is abusive, difficult and incurs far too much risk.

If you wish to lessen the possibility of sexual abuse against minors, I suggest you promote psychological literacy as to the effects that sexual abuse has on minors. It's messed up
