Turns out low thyroid and depression mimic each other. So my sole reason that I’ve been taking these SSRI’s (Effexor) is mostly because the discontinuation is so bad it almost makes you assume you ARE crazy when you try and stop taking them. If your hyper active, these pills will slow you down. So if you suddenly stop taking the “brakes” your brain needs to slow down your mental processes of course you’re going to be a mental mess, right? How do they know if it’s not actual chemical imbalances but instead discontinuation syndrome?
When I stop taking these meds, I want to fuck everything.
