>>17765597>Why are these blackholes of humanity always 95% male?Females are a biological middle class. The scarcity of eggs relative to sperm means animals and animal societies evolve to innately value females. Females will always be valued and thus will never be part of the lower classes, and since they don't need to be the best in order to breed they don't tend to be part of the upper classes either. The upper and lower classes in a society are always male because competition to secure breeding rights is what creates class systems in the first place, and only males need to compete to secure breeding rights.
The more casual sex becomes, the wider the class divisions you will see at any given level of technology. A low tech hypogamous society will still have a class system due to competition for food etc, but as technology advances and food etc is made less scarce, the class divide in a hypogamous society will tend to narrow. A hypergamous society will have a much wider class divide than a hypogamous society at any given level of technology, and technological advancement will tend to widen the class divide. This is because in a hypergamous society, people only cooperate because environmental threats and resource scarcity force them to, otherwise they would spend all their energy competing for sex. Since technology mitigates environmental threats and resource scarcity, it gives people in the hypergamous society more free energy to spend competing for sex, and this increased sexual competition leads to a wider class divide than what existed when people needed to invest some of their energy into cooperation to overcome environmental pressures and resource scarcity. Should a hypogamous society transition into a hypergamous society, as was the case in post-industrial west, you will see a widening of class divisions, the death of the male middle class, and an apparent paradox where technological advancement increases working hours rather than decreasing them.
