>>17778477It can be pretty entertaining. Little greentext about Google Earth Oztraya:
>friend is visiting>hasn't smoked weed in years but wants to smoke some here today>make sure he smokes slowly, provide local butter cake and water>tune into Google Earth to show him stuff>zoom in and out of Germany and other countries to show the size of things>he's absolutely stoned and baffled >"whoa, everything is so big man">end up in Australia>zoom all the way in to some random city, follow some streets>going further outback>further still, just following two dark red lines in bright red soil>"How long does this go on, man? How is there nothing?">zoom out>nothing but red wasteland and that track of tires>keep zooming outBlah blah blah, let's end it with "he was about to lose his shit". And I can confirm, this vastness is hard to imagine for someone that lives in a very densely populated country.
Always makes me think of the Europeans that first went to America. No wonder they called it "the new world". It really was a whole new world.
Back to ice. I'm hung up on Google Earth again now, just look at this shit. In some places you can zoom in really deep, don't get discouraged by shit image quality.
Gotta sift through a ton of dirt to find an ounce of gold.
