Not true, there's still lots of pepper heads that like to buy them at farmers markets to make their own mashes or incorporate it into a dish. Its a niche market sure but its still a thing and its not inedible lol. The problem is that you only know of those sauces that were designed just to be spicy as fuck for shittube, but there's a bunch of companies that use the peppers that anon listed but at moderate amounts and mixed with other ingredients and they taste pretty dank man
