i imagine a few attempts at proving bots to be either good or evil with a completely irrational 'planet of the apes' type approach have been attempted by some with access to the type of shit probably not even area 51 would have a clue about (assumed due to them being the most talked about governmental technological development facility, making them the most looked at). the type of tech with no actual basis for existing due to there being basically no research or methods for studying things like brain scans (fMRI, CT, PET, EEG, etc) and (in the case of EEGs at least) whatever was being focused on by the person at the time
well, there are a few websites with data said to have EEG data and correlative data of whatever they may have been looking at or interacting with, potentially correct for the reasons of getting those good at figuring out the right patterns and what they may mean into either secret locations or becoming signal analysts in the RAAF to see if they can keep their mouths shut (lol)
probably mostly correct data, then, imo. and probably the closest stargate metaphors have ever come to actually explaining anything in reality.
