I have some questions for Canadians about immigration.

1. Is it possible (specifically) for a poorfag who rents month-to-month rooms, and/or six-month apartment leases, to immigrate to Canada and do the same there?

2. When they say immigrants need to move to a "permanent residence" in order to become a citizen, do they exclusively mean land and/or a condo?
