I’m on SSDI for refractory depression (Treatment-Resistant Unipolar) and until a month ago was getting the extra $328 a month for the COVID relief food stamps and that helped a lot. That has been cut to $23 a month and so I got a job helping senior citizens use their iPhones at the local community center.
I told them to pay me as little as possible and that I can only work about 12-hours a week so I don’t make more than a $1,000 extra a month, but now I hear that if you are consistently making just under the cut off limits, SS can nuke your benefits anyways, so I decided to have them cut my hours even further and to just start stealing meat.
Today I successfully stole $35 worth of meat while also paying for about $30 worth of other groceries.
I don’t feel bad, so maybe that’s a bad sign.
How sustainable is this course of action?
What do if “caught”? Run?
I’m now voting for Trump, but I want to be able to eventually steal all my food.
This is my breakfast from two days ago.
