I wouldn't mind vtubers if they were actually committed to their character. They advertise an interesting character that they'll play: an angel who despises humans but is sent down from heaven to learn about them; a wise sophisticated librarian from a time long past learning about the modern world; a stoic battle hardened wolf spirit trying to open her heart up to others
Sounds good, right? But then you join their streams and they're just acting like e-girl #5483, with no regard for their character or their lore. It's just a plain, boring person talking about themselves. No talent or skill behind their little act. What a disappointment
