>>17915884Because Jesus was the ultimate anti-semite.
He came as the promised Messiah to give them one last chance at redemption and salvation. Instead, they rejected Him.
Jesus revoked any claims the jews had to some kind of special status as chosen people. Any jew covenant with God was made null and void by Jesus.
After the jews rejected Jesus's message, He then began to tell the world of God's new-covenant that was available to all the gentiles and non-jews who accepted God's love.
The jews murdered Jesus for this.
Not long after that, the jews got absolutely BTFO by the Romans and sent into exile. And over the next ~300 years, Christianity exploded in popularity to become the most popular religion in the world, and the state religion of the Roman Empire.
The jews realized that Jesus had been telling the truth, but instead of begging for forgiveness, they seethed.
The rabbis, who were the descendants of the Pharissees who killed Jesus, created a new religion whose main focus was on subverting Christianity and the Gentiles, and finding loopholes and technicalities to try to get around God's rules. This new religion, known as modern Rabbinical judaism, is the religion that is followed by all present day jews.
