Every alcoholic drink is highly caloric. The more alcohol it has, more calories. Drinking something very strong would be better though as you could get drunk with only a few shots, specially if you have not eaten anything. Good vodka I guess is the best for that. For heavy drinking is what get me the weakest hangover. But must be good vodka, not the shitty ones. Those give you horrible hangover. Wou will screw your stomach and liver if you do that every week though. I've gained 30kg in 3 years only because of heavy drinking (used to drink 5-6 times a week). So I would not recommend. Took me 6 months to get back in shape.

For the best alcohol/calorie ratio chose distilled spirits. The only calories they have is all alcohol.
Clear or aged is more or less the same, but some sweeter, latin rums contain added sugar.

High quality vodka. Absolute from Finnland is best out there. Least shit in there that makes you sick afterwards. Take some NAC before drinking and you can go full blackout and still feel more or less normal the next day.

Only true if you’re talking about higher proof whiskeys or rums, but that goes for higher proof anything. At 80 proof all four of those are basically identical in calories. Virtually all liquors are clear when distilled but rums and whiskeys get their color from being aged in wooden barrels for years. As far as I can tell that has no impact on calorie count.

I like cider too. Shots of hard spirits upsets my throat too much, its too harsh. Whiskey with water is not terrible, not tried vodka and water.

People should do preparations around alcohol like food. If you plan on drinking change your diet accordingly. Fast the next day. Also NO SUGAR. Not consuming sugars where you can help it will help your liver immensely

When something has calories all that means is someone in a government laboratory can dehydrate it and set it on fire to produce x amount of heat, but that does not necessarily mean your body can efficiently convert it into that much energy, or use it for energy at all as in the case for pure ethanol. Ethanol is not involved in any metabolic processes, including the production of fat, your body just tries to get rid of it completely. What that means however is your bodies metabolism will slow down so the same amount of calories will cause more weight gain.

I used to drink it and it is real easy to overdue it so you gotta just put a little in a glass then fill it up with something else. Usually flavored sparkling water, diet soda, what have you. BTW don't get curious and take a swig off the bottle. It feels exactly how one would expect.
