if their entire army was on wargback or whatever mount, carried a bow and a spear, and didnt pretend to be le romans by amassing le useless infantry blocks that'd get cut down like butter or something. Also they must only starve out large settlements like minas tirith and helms deep. While settlements that were not walled or had wooden walls (wood burns btw) were common raiding targets that'd happen quickly and frequently but also are extremely bloody because peasants dont wear armor lmao
