American toilets are weird. the retarded siphon system they use wastes water, doesn't actually "flush" and means they can't do a half flush/ dual flush system

they also fill up their urinals with water too so piss splashes everywhere. it's fucking weird - there's no need for water in a urinal at all except during flushes

Pretty much. You turn it on after you are done and it turns off by itself when it senses that there is only ash left. The exhaust is vented out of the roof. It is kind of like Auschwitz for poop but actually real.

most the rest of the world uses the wash down type bowl. it actually flushes rather than drains. also means you can do a half flush for piss or a full flush for shit. less water in the bowl means no splashing piss everywhere or cold water shooting at your ass when shitting. it's the superior design and I'm not sure why, other than blind patriotism, you'd defend the inferior American type.
