A lot of Christians don’t Seem to get that me saying “I don’t believe in god” is the same this as saying “I Know there is no god”. They’ll usually ask me to prove there isn’t a god, which is like asking me to prove there isn’t ghosts in the room with us.

I know you don’t believe in Ra, Odin, Vishnu, or any of the other thousands of deities mankind has worshipped. Do you have proof none of them exist? No, and you don’t have to. You don’t believe in them because you haven’t seen enough evidence to convince you that they’re real. Maybe you’re not closed off to the idea of them existing, but right now you just don’t believe.

That’s how I feel about god In general. We aren’t that different in that regard
