>>18061628You know, I think the thing that keeps all 1st world countries from spiraling into chaos is the belief that no matter how fucky things get "it'll all work out". I mean humans have conquered almost every frontier except death. Bad shit happens but it eventually works out. That's what keeps people going and I've seen it play out countless times.
This is a fad. Along with society evolving, so have our social habits. It's more complicated than ever before but people are going to move onto the next thing.
We've all heard "being on the right side of history" and that's why these people are so effectively able to tune out reality. I've been thinking, when the pendulum inevitably swings back to traditional morality, people are going to have such a bad taste in their mouth it's going to set women's rights back to the stone age.
