Drugs are sold only for profit. And the reason drugs are obtained is because they cause feelings. Euphoria being the most popular reason for using drugs.
Drugs aren't a business. It's an industry. Everything bit of it, manufacturing, delivery, bulk sale, retail sale, etc. has to make a profit. As time goes on most people involved want to insulate themselves from risks, which means that it isn't as direct as back in the day. You don't have one person dealing drugs to everyone in part of a city. Instead you have a lot of these people who are addicts themselves and are trying to fund their use by any means necessary. Including but not limited to selling drugs themselves. And the profit needs to be meaningful when taking amount of sales in account. This means that drugs are expensive and getting more expensive as time goes on. This means that most dealers like to obtain alternative drugs. They're cutting down the people involved in getting the drug to the end user and increase profits. They want to sell more addictive and cheaper drugs. It's easier to sell a lot of something that costs $5 versus selling few of something that costs $100. So drugs like meth and abused medication are popular.
If you're a zoomer and a complete retard for the lack of education, it's easy to talk you into trying it. And once you are addicted it's very very very hard to stop using. It takes a lot of effort. Like said earlier, most people don't change their way of life... ever.
There's also something else: its the internet. You see zoomers using drugs on a video, and you know better, yet you think that this is what it's all like. It's probably not the case.
