that sounds terrifying.
When i lucid dream i usually try to keep it going as long as possible, you can really will places into existence but its really fragile, like if you think about it being a dream too hard youll wake up.
I also like the ones where i am able to fly.
It always starts with me making very long jumps and gliding near the ground and by the end i end up flying high above.
But a dream where you cant wake up? Never had one of those. How come you slept for 20 hours anyway?

It was pretty scary when i was dreaming, the bouncing away after trying to end the dream by dying seems kinda funny now but it wasn't at the time. I normally like lucid dreams but this dream was really eerie. I know what you mean by if you think about it being a dream too much you wake up but that didn't happen this time. No idea why I slept for 20 hours never even slept close to that before. I was very happy to finally be awake

I've had a few nightmares like those. They're dreams where I know I'm dreaming but I also know that I'm stuck dreaming unless I do something in the dream to wake up. I call them "win conditions".
If I had to describe these dreams, it's almost as if a demon managed to trap your psyche so it can play with you.
The dreams can range from being surreal or intensely real for me. I've had to escape an entity in a labyrinth-like cave floating in the sky, I've been stuck in a timeloop where I had to figure out who the murderer was before they killed someone (if I died or failed I was reset back to the beginning of the dream), and others that I can't remember well.
Weird stuff, definitely not a fan.
