There is some type of reason it is mostly likely profitable to bring in many people, but it’s complicated, it’s partially because western policies are to blame somewhat for like contributing to the destabilization and inequality that exists in many parts of the world, I haven’t memorized all the exact reasons or examples, but there are many examples of it being profitable, certain countries have more resources and commodities then we have available and thus effort is taken to lessen resistance and make it easier to obtain these resources in the hands of a select few people. But there’s other reasons like I was reading about the destabilization of South America and Latin America for example.
I guess the biggest reason is that they want them to accept western democracy. But basically there’s not that much opportunities in other countries that they bring people in from, so instead of relying on the hope that their countries will become more developed or stable they just bring people in from them. But also I believe it is less expensive and cheaper at times to hire immigrants, this is obviously the case with the Mexican ray labourers they for sure are paid less but I think immigrants in many other fields as well. It’s less expensive for some reason.
