It's actually hilarious how much anime moggs hollywood at this point.

Yeah but it's getting worse. Like every year for the last 6 or 7 years there's some incredible groundbreaking anime that blows everyone away and generates a huge cult following.
And every year hollywood managed to screw up an old IP even worse than they screwed up the last old IP they screwed up.

You want to say this year is the worst of all where you've got Indiana Jones Diarhea of Disaster and Transformers Rape of the Childhood vs Oshi No Ko and Chainsaw Man, but you could have said that any year since 2017 or so.

Exactly how hard is anime going to bully hollywood next year?

People don't remember the bad animes that came out during that time. A lot of anime was coal back then, just like now, and people forgot about them the next season. So now only the gems of each season are remembered.
The animation quality has gone downhill though with most modern anime. Modern digital artists are lazy with their work. And it is hard to make CGI art look good. Hand-drawn artists usually put a lot of effort into their stuff.

This is so wrong it's practically a mental illness.

The number of pans over stills and reused animations goes down every year as the technology improves. Even going back and looking at K-on, Hunter x Hunter, any Fate, these aren't old animes and you can see they don't stand up to even mid isekai like My Life as a Villainess or Realist Hero.

Even MHA (which I'm watching for the first time) is full of my old peeves like too much exposition, too much flashbacking, which you don't really see any more.
