Dude, they built a huge fucking steel sarcophagus that was slid over the entire reactor building once it was finished. That took 30 years, and requires a shitload of logistics by itself. Given the timeframe, there's nothing that COULDN'T have been transported there in secret, perhaps in pieces and assembled on site. When the installation is up and running, you really only need to supply the personnel, and that doesn't require a huge chain of logistics. Nothing that couldn't be hidden away, anyways

I think it’s under a foreign US military base or joint operations base. If it’s that important, the military wouldn’t take a risk of losing control of it.
Something like Pine Gap or that radio tower in Worst Korea are good starting points.

It ought to be somewhere rural- if it were in a highly populated area, the people would have discovered it before the building was constructed over it.
I am guessing based on context that the UFO was found in the 20th century, or perhaps 21st, so the building should not be ancient.
My guess on a previous thread from /x/ was Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo. Doesn't quite fit, because it's a whole military base, not any particular building, and it was constructed in 1999, which is arguably too late.

Really it's hard to narrow down because there are a lot of big buildings in low population areas. More than coming up with particular examples, maybe it is best to come up with likely traits the location will have, so as to filter candidates and get a smaller list.

The part I don't fully get is that even rural places aren't uncharted- someone should've just been walking / driving by and seen a UFO out in the middle of nowhere. This suggests to me that it was either underground, or in a location where access was somehow forbidden to the public even before the building was built. Perhaps the site of an archaeological dig? Are there any sites where archaeological excavation once took place, but now have a new building built atop them?
