Publica o no, en la escuela no se aprende un idioma.
Toda la gente que aprende un idioma es porque se fuerzan a hablarlo.
El mas mediocre de la escuela publica pero que practica español todos los dias hablando, leyendo o escuchando español es mejor que el mejor alumno de la privada.
Los idiomas se aprenden usandolos.

At the end of the day. You are better off improving your english. Think about how often you use spanish. Please do not take it as egotistical, me personally, I learned english and spanish for business and everyday living (yeah, this lazy posting in the thread doesnt show it) for the sake of survival. You may have the relaxed luxury of only needing english. Relax. Do not feel pressured or left out. As I said, remember your roots and never look down on others.
