I was watching cropped clips of the passion on youtube and despite being unimpressed with the amount of muslim spam in the comments, one of them caught my attention: "sorry but God cannot be a helpless man"
Which made me think, before Christianity existed, did any other of the ancient cultures had "humble" gods? I think back then all gods were depicted as animal headed warlords dressed with shiny jewelry and shit. Did Christianity invented the concept of God being able to lower himself down to our level instead of being an wrathful bloodthirsty entilted asshole?
