Well, there are two main ways, you can either do live rolls or math rolls. Live rolls are just, the person who posts first gets his moves first, it leads to some autstic situations sometimes though, I don't like it unless it's necessery. Math rolls are just subtracting results from players, for example, if yellow attacks blue for 3 and blue attacks yellow for 2, then yellow gains 1 territory. That's really all you have to know to get started. Most of my """techniques""" came from experience, you just have to see what style of OPing is best for you

And no, I don't think small tiny maps are best for starter, there are a lot of 3 and 4 way wars which aren't as easy to cope with as normal wars that are the most common at these medium-sized maps you often see

Okay, sounds manageable.
The reason for my thinking that this map would be easy to start OPing was that this map is limited to 4 players, so i feels like it could be easier to manage.

Where have you got this idea from? I said I will start at 3/4 player, but even 20 players could play if somehow this many of them showed up. Limits are OP's decision, as an OP you are free to coose your rules, your everything, you are the game master, you can host a big ass map limiting it to 3 players, it wouldn't be fun probably, but you can do it

I have my system, I write some stuff a lot of stuff on paper, usual games do not consist of as many players, maybe in american hours, I usually get less than ten, but I managed games with more players, I don't think I have ever hit 20 on /bant/ though, but I believe I could manage it, turns would just be a bit slower. Starting with 4 or 5 is usually a good number, that ammount of people comes rather quickly

well, the thread's been up for an hour now, so people clearly don't want to play this map. you might want to wait 3-4 hours, thats usually when risk threads go up.
