Iirc, that’s the game you could hand items to NPCs and they would return them to you with a comment about how they don’t want it. What made this interesting is you could title books, and it became the actual name of the item in the code.
I spent the last 3 weeks of my free month doing street performance with books and NPCs, writing full scripts for my “play” using books to force the NPC dialogue and typing my own part myself.

I don’t want “AIDS right now”.There was some randomness in which response they would give, but because they were all negative they were largely interchangeable with some clever writing.
It was a big hit. I finished my trial month with endgame gear and a legendary stack of gold, basically everything that could be exchanged between players; as all the established players died laughing and showered me with riches.
10/10, would never play again.
