Is Australia somehow isolated from the rest of the western world or why don't I see any news originating from there ever? It's a big continent, the commonwealth of australia and it's even been part of the british empire. I have to specifically look for australian news on google to see at least something, yet USA and other big countries are everywhere in my general news sources.
