None of the things outside of the bible (Old and New Testament) are "the same thing" only because they took some of the Old Testament's words and names and created their own theme from it. There is only one God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and He came in the flesh as Jesus the Christ, as prophesied, and regathered the house of Israel and the house of Judah. The Israelites followed the God of Israel, as prophesied, and they built the Christian nations of the world. One consistent book, one consistent people, one consistent God.
