That out of the way, I think the EU and Germany is being idiotic about their immigration policy. They're not doing checks, they're not doing anything, they're just letting in reams and reams of people, and that's dangerous, we can see that from the terrorist attacks. But the solution is not to close the borders and ignore suffering, but to take the time to check these people, and boot the violent ones. It's our responsibility, as sovereign states, to give refugees, NOT MIGRANTS, REFUGEES, asylum. That means no-one from anywhere in Africa not at war with itself. It mean Syrians only, and even then, you need papers and checks. Fulfil our responsibility as nation states, because we have to, but any other immigrants have to go through the same stringent migration policy as anyone, which, in my opinion, should be tighter.
That, and Ireland actually has pretty tight border control. It's basically the only thing our military or navy do.
