>>18340267The amount of subscribers/views that a YouTuber has isn’t necessarily indicative of their actual income.
If you have any sort of ad blocker enabled then the YouTuber gets nothing for that view. Almost anyone with some basic knowledge can download an extension or browser to completely bypass all ads. I haven’t seen a single JewTube ad in over a decade.
That’s why you see so many YouTubers shilling for RAID: Shadow Legends and NordVPN while also having their own Patreon accounts.
The actual wealthy YouTubers like Jake Paul and Mr. Beast operate more like a business with many side ventures. The channel is just a vehicle to push their merch, brand, and other products. They employ an entire staff of professionals to run it behind the scenes while they act as the face of the channel(s).
Watch the YouTube video about the guy who manages the business ventures of Mr. Beast. He goes into detail how almost every video almost always pushes him into zero or negative cash flow temporarily because of its up-front expense with the assumption being made that the clout that it attracts will get more people to buy his stuff, and then how he uses tax loopholes to business expense a lot of that.
Mr. Beast Burgers was more of a necessity to manage risk of the uncertainty of the assumed revenue being generated by his YouTube channel alone to keep the cash flow in the black rather than an idea that Mr. Beast just came up with because he thought it was cool. The same applies with Jake Paul and his brother’s bullshit electrolyte energy drink.
