>>1841303Ive only seen one pileup in 32 years. It was on I-270. No surprise there. Most accidents on 70 occur around the I-77/I-70 interchange due to out of state drivers (again, typically Pennsylvania). I can say with absolute certainty that Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Virginia drivers are hot garbage as well.
See, speed limits aren't polite suggestions. They're in place for a reason. The same as using a turn signal, giving a car length of space before merging to overtake, using the right lane for thru traffic, merging like a zipper, etc. I've never had a speeding ticket and I drive defensively. You know, as in how you are supposed to. The only exception I take is flow of traffic.
Here are some tips:
-don't slam on your brakes when you see a state trooper, you're already fucked, you can't beat LIDAR. They are trained to judge speed and authorized to use that in a court of law
-don't suddenly merge to get to an exit and cause others to nearly wreck. Your shit isn't that important
-leave for work earlier
-there is literally no reason to do 95 in a 55, you have nowhere important to be
-if you're on a motorcycle and drive like an asshole, I will absolutely gear down next to you and blow soot in your face
