This shit WAS my childhood. I'm forever thankful for pokemon simply being a thing in the first place. You don't understand how real the adventure in this 8-bit world felt like as a kid if you never experienced it at the time it was new. Imagination is one hell of a drug. When I arrived lavender town I was so excited to simply find a new area to explore and also because I struggled to find a path there for a long time. Also the music and overall feeling of lavender town is something unique.
