There's no sense in life because there is no higher power. There is no god, no lore, nothing. It's all boring math all the way down. Nothing magical, everything obeys a very well specified set of rules with no loopholes to be found. If there was a creator we could at least scan the rules of reality to find something he missed and take advantage of it.
