the only time they had a bit of progress was when the soviets kicked their elites in the ass and out of the nation - suddenly women voting rights, suddenly workers rights, suddenly... etc etc.

i would like to partake in a referendum also, doesnt matter what it is about - but im a german citizen - so no plebicites for me, ever. democracy, western style, yay!!
