you should all get dragon warrior monsters or at least an emulator.
i just got reminded that proto-pokemon is broken and you as a character get exp.
every single monster gets exp if you're grinding for catching specific monsters.
i left, came back and my level 1 monsters were level 17.
it's like every monster you're not using is at a pokemon daycare.
