The Phoenician princess Jezebel, wife of the Israelite King Ahab, is according to ancient sources, great-aunt of Dido, founder of Carthage and lover of Aeneas, founder of Rome, both supposedly had a bastard son called Ascanius, or rather Ashkenazi. Jezebel was the mother of Ahaziah, who, when sick, went to the Philistine city of Ekron to consult the oracolus of Beelzebub. The Philistines were Greek immigrants in southwest Canaan. Beelzebub, or Baal-Zebub (Lord of the Flies), was identified by the Greeks with Zeus Apomyius (Zeus who driving away the flies). He was a chthonic aspect of this deity related to death, decomposition, disease, plagues and the fate related to this.
