And yeah, most dating apps are actually hookup apps so there isn't really any hope to find a romantic relationship there either...
I've only been to the UK once and I don't really have property to talk about the dating scene there, but from my experience its quite easy to find someone to talk to or hook up at bars and stuff.
If you're not the go out to a bar type of person, I don't know... Just keep trying. I heard hinge is the best app for relationships but I've never used it myself
