>>18461115>I don't really have any friends in Uni. My first year got wasted and it was all online classes due to covid shit and on top of that I take my time to open up with people.Oof, sorry to hear.
But come on, you have to view it as a challenge to overcome. There are retards who don't even go to university who fuck women; you're not gonna let them beat you are you?
Talk to your peers about how tough that shit is. Your attitude sounds like this shit is inflicted upon you but you have eyes and a brain - open them and look around you. Make alliances with other lonely dudes who don't seem to have friends. Ask about parties, there WILL be graduation parties to go to. Clubs are the absolute best thing when you become a real adult though, because you have a good reason to be there, you genuinely will be working on yourself, and because it's easy to become a member of staff or otherwise respected because WAY more people than you think are flaky and unable to even organize attending a class a couple of times a week. Become reliable.
>Will be a challenge to get any friends in Uni. I go to gym but really not a social activity.Easy, look out for people you see at the gym and speak to them if you see them outside of the gym. Just say "hey, we go to the same gym, what are you working on? need a spotter?" Just shoot the shit. Very quickly with women you learn that the content of your speech matters less than the manner of your speech.
>I like MMA and was thinking of joining a MMA gym I think it's more social although not sure if I would make any friends there as people there would be quite different to me.MMA is great but it's gonna be full of dudes. Try something a bit lighter like tennis, badminton (TONS of asian girls love this) or some kind of martial art. I know a lot of people don't like sport, but it's not really about that. It's about going somewhere, consistently, on time, showing drive to improve, capacity to learn and teach, to help one another and just BE.
