- Despite cameras not showing the inside of his cell, they showed the only possible entrance routes to his cell and these were observed independently and no one was ever seen approaching the cell.
- The fact that cameras weren't working and the guards were too lazy to check up on him as frequently as they were supposed to is meaningless given that they likely behave that way with most/all prisoners all the time and always slept on the job and the prison probably has had numerous incidents of camera fuckups for years. I don't know any of that for a fact but that seems probable, and if it is the case then it pretty much explains everything.
- The day before he killed himself, he signed his last will and testament.
- His cellmate reported that Epstein seemed to have lost all hope in the week prior to his death and was depressed:

- He had plenty of strong incentives to kill himself. He knew he was very likely going to serve, at the very least, decades in prison. Bail was denied and he knew he wasn't ever going to get it. He was 66.
Plus he was probably never going to give up any incriminating information either way. He knew his life was effectively over so he took the short route out. I'd say there's like a 90% chance he killed himself without any outside involvement.
