Like a retarded Smash Bros try hard, they no longer actually treat the game for its original purpose, fun. Instead of desire to scrape as many predictable wins as possible for ego purposes, fox only final destination, no items etc etc
In many ways, the roastie hag performs the same role. She continually career preens herself, trying to earn greater and greater earning potential, and social esteem from her job position. However, these status inclinations were only important in the original goal of them making it easier to raise children. When she becomes so attached to her role that she can no longer produce or raise children, then it makes the entirety of her career valueless, useless, excess.
It'd be literally better for her to be dirt poor with at least 2-3 kids, than be rich with absolutely none
